Melissa is an avid reader\, a literacy champion\, and a fierce advocate for mental health\, wellness\, and access to treatment. \nMelissa launched Balance & Business with Melissa in April 2025 after more than seven years in the social selling/direct sales industry—five of those in leadership. During that time\, she also spent over 12 years in healthcare administration\, steadily working her way up through multiple positions with hard work\, curiosity\, and a drive to excel. For the past 11 years\, she has also worked with a local poker tour. At one point\, she balanced a full-time healthcare role\, a part-time poker position\, a thriving direct sales business\, raising two young daughters\, and managing her household. \nThese experiences taught Melissa a lot—the good\, the bad\, and the ugly. In 2019\, she realized her actions didn’t fully align with her priorities. That realization led her to create systems and strategies for her work and home life that allowed for true balance and peace of mind. By combining those systems with the skills she developed in healthcare and direct sales—and her passion for teaching\, connecting\, and helping others grow—coaching became the natural next step. \nToday\, Melissa supports women in building and growing their businesses without sacrificing their personal lives. She believes in big goals\, strong boundaries\, and creating both with intention. \n2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Wrap Up & Reflection \nPresenting Sponsors \n \nPlatinum Sponsors \n \nGold Sponsors \n \n       \nSilver Sponsors \n \n \nBronze Sponsors \n \n \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Time Management Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This is an interactive workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring their planner (digital or paper) and a notebook.  Copies of the slides will be sent to participants after the presentation \n\nCurrent schedule\nPriorities\nSetting the schedule\n\nPriorities\n“Firm” appointments\n“Flexible” MUSTS\nWork time blocking\n\n\nPlan your priorities\n\nTop 3\nTasks\nAssign the time\n\n\nManage expectations\nQ&A\nStay connected\n\nAbout Our Speaker: Melissa Thury\, Founder of Balance & Business with Melissa \nMelissa Thury is a growth-minded visionary\, chaos coordinator\, and the Founder & Coach at Balance & Business with Melissa. \nFirst and foremost\, Melissa is a wife and mom. She and her husband\, Jeremy\, have been married for 15 years and are raising two daughters\, Ramsey (13) and Merritt (9). Both Melissa and Jeremy were raised in Jamestown\, ND\, and returned to the community in 2022 after time away for work. As a family\, they enjoy traveling (and the good food that comes with it)\, camping\, playing card and board games\, and watching movies.
