Presenters’ Bios:

Ben Deetz is a Lender Relations Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) North Dakota District Office. Ben joined the SBA in April of 2021. A graduate of Concordia College, Ben received his Master of Business Administration degree from North Dakota State University. Ben can be reached at benjamin.deetz@sba.gov.

Tyler Hinrichs recently joined the SBA South Dakota District Office as a Lender Relations Specialist. Tyler has previous experience with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a Loan Specialist in the Rural Business Programs and Multifamily Housing. Prior to USDA Tyler worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the home loan guaranty program. He graduated from Bethel University (MN) with a degree in Business. In their roles, Ben & Tyler provide technical assistance to lenders and small businesses in utilizing SBA programs to increase access to capital. They also work with SBA resource partners, chambers, and economic developers to support entrepreneurship in North and South Dakota.
