In this workshop you will learn why positive emotion is so important in the last place that people associate with it – work! You will learn how to harness the power of positive emotion to become more successful and engaged at work and how to help your colleagues do the same! Finally, you will learn strategies for what to do if positive emotion is notably absent from your work.

Outcomes:

Learn the science behind why positive emotion is essential, not just nice to have.

Bio speaker:

Sara Oliveri Olumba is a life coach, couples coach & speaker based in Washington, D.C.. She is one of fewer than 400 people in the world to earn her master’s degree in positive psychology. Sara has been voted Best Life Coach in Washington DC four years in a row!

She is a former faculty member at George Mason University where she taught “Understanding Human Happiness and Well-being.” Sara gave a popular TEDx talk on “The Two Steps to Lifelong Happiness.” And in 2015, She helped launch the American School of Professional Life Coaching DC. Sara has a podcast called This Miraculous Life.
