About the in-person workshop at Valley City State University:

A Small Business and Housing Finance event at the Skoal Conference at VCSU’s Memorial Student Center will be held on Friday, January 31st between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. A zoom meeting link is also provided for those individuals who would like to attend virtually.

The speaker agenda is as follows:
1) Welcoming Remarks – Janna Kohler, Director of Career Services, Valley City State University
2) Dillon Thomas – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development
3) Elizabeth Phares Oren – North Dakota Women’s Business Center
4) Ben Deetz – U.S. Small Business Administration
4) David Flohr – North Dakota Housing
5) Michaela Schell – Dakota Business Lending

The event will introduce a variety of financing resources relevant to both Small Business owners and individuals interested in learning more about Single Family and Multi-Family Housing programs. Presenters have extensive experience supporting small business, home loan and home repair loan applications.

This event is open to the general public. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. No registration is required.
